The Gift of Water program has been providing water purifiers to Haitian communities for more than 15 years. Over that time, hundreds of thousands of Haitians have benefitted from having access to clean drinking water. This unique two bucket, double filter system which also incorporates the use of chlorine tablets, provides Haitians with superior quality drinking water that is free of parasites, bacteria, viruses, organic chemicals & carcinogens.  

This simple design yet comprehensive system was created and developed by Phil Warwick. In conjunction with numerous charities, Phil & his wife Barbara gained distribution of this purifier throughout Haiti. Due to the overwhelming time commitment required to run the Gift of Water program, Phil and Barbara discerned that they were no longer able to keep it going and decided to close it as of December 31, 2009.  On behalf of all involved with this effort, especially those Haitian communities who benefitted from this water purifier system, I’d like to thank Phil & Barbara Warwick for their time, effort and dedication. Hundreds of thousands of people have had a chance for a better life as a result of your effort.

Recently Pete Murphy, involved with a charity that was using the Gift of Water program, has decided to re-start this unique water purifier program. Pete is at the on-set of developing a not-for-profit organization to lead this initiative. However, continuing to make purifiers, string filters, carbon filters & chlorine tablets available to existing users is a priority.
